WHAT:

[ Team ❤️ ( Jill, Ciaccona, Megumi, Monika ) & Team ♦️ ( Lyney, Mydei, Kaveh, Ratio ) & Team ♣️ ( Diluc, Jing Yuan, Lahabrea, Vil ) will all come to in a claustrophobic coffin six feet underground in the field that all of this craziness started in. you're still suffering from the hallucinations, paranoia, & honesty! which should definitely be a good time for somebody trapped in a wooden box. as for the necrosis, well, that seems to have taken care of itself... but once you're able to move and inspect yourself some more you'll find that you've got shrapnel from the collapsing bunker lodged in you. nothing fatal, but it's definitely painful and very likely bleeding. it can *only* be removed *with help*. you can't remove the pieces on your own. ]

[ Team ♠️ ( Brant, Aventurine, Castorice, Jayce ) & EVERYBODY ELSE will get a text message once the game ends with the coordinates of the woods that your friends are currently buried in. a follow-up simply says bring a shovel. this is probably confusing to those who didn't participate, but they'll find out what's what soon enough. ]

still with me? sorry, i don't have the stamina for this sort of thing have to take breaks plus i'm using an ice shovel... not very practical as it keeps melting want me to call?

[ He keeps digging, it seems like he's getting close. He hits the top of the coffin, but it's still partially buried so he keeps working on unearthing it. ]

[ He doesn't reply, just calls, voice shaky. ] Why would you use an ice shovel? [ He jumps when he hears the thunk--these effects are going to give him a heart attack. ] That's you, right?

Yes, that's me. And because I wasn't about to fight with several other people for a shovel when I can make one myself. The only issue is I hadn't really taken the temperature into account.

[ With the word 'temperature' he slams the shovel into another pile of dirt and tosses it out. ]

...Ugh.

[ Fuck it. He puts the shovel down and pulls his vest and shirt off. It's too hot. ]

Well, if nothing else you're about to get a wonderful show when you get out of there.

I suppose that makes sense. [ ... ] I don't know if I can handle surprises right now, Kaeya. What do you mean show?

I'm hurt... you think I'd pull a cruel trick on you while you're such a state?

No. I'm just shirtless and dripping with a combination of water and sweat. Hopefully one cancels out the other because I haven't had a chance to shower before I was so rudely interrupted from my afternoon nap. Fortunately for you I don't sweat all that much.

[ Aaaand he's done. He flings the coffin open and holds his hand out to Diluc. ]

Your savior has arrived~.

[ Immediately climbs out--too fast, it makes the shrapnel dig in deeper--and presses into Kaeya. Hiding his head in the crook of Kaeya's neck, arms wrapping around his shoulders, uncaring of how potentially sweaty Kaeya is. ] Tell me you don't see zombies in the coffin. Tell me father isn't there.

[ Gives him a very halfhearted and superficial pat on his back. ]

...I'm right here, half naked and glistening and you're more focused on zombies and your father?

[ Huffs softly. ]

I ought to shove you back into that coffin.

Don't you think I'd be a little more in disarray if that were the case?

[ Digs his nails into Kaeya's back in a death grip, arms tightening. ] Don't you fucking dare. I'll drag you in with me. [ ... ] Are they really there? [ He may be picking Kaeya up and pushing them both out of the hole--damn the shrapnel in his side. ]

Ow-- hey! Careful. At least warn me before you decide to play rough. That's my skin you're pushing pieces of metal into and-- ah... more shrapnel. Lovely.

[ Squirms a bit, then finally lightly shoves Diluc back, grabbing his face and pinching at his cheeks. ]

They aren't. I am. Snap out of it -- or at the very least listen to me. Better yet, why don't you try squeezing one of them with the death grip you just gave me?

[ He grumbles and looks around. ]

Do you have enough strength to be able to get us out of here? Because I'm afraid I've expended most of it trying to dig you out.

[ He blinks as he looks at Kaeya and how his face seems to be... melting off his skull. Right. That's still happening too. And now the dirt surrounding them looks like bloody entrails. Hm. He squeezes his eyes shut, gagging a little. ] Yes. I'll get us out.

...after everything stops deliquescing.

...As jealous as you may be of my unyielding beauty, please stop liquefying me.

[ He looks around, then sighs. ]

Fine, then. I'll do it myself.

[ Snaps his fingers. Oh look! An ice ladder. That's definitely safe and no one is liable to melt it with their fiery footsteps. Honestly he's so frazzled by Diluc's frazzledness that he doesn't even take that into account. He just starts climbing. Maybe Diluc won't see his ass melting off of his body as Kaeya starts climbing and will instead just... see his ass and the tight pants that hug it in all the right ways. ]

... That doesn't even make sense.

[ When he peaks his eyes open the gore and macabre is gone. And yes, he does see Kaeya's very good-looking ass. Sighing, he forgets himself and climbs up the later after Kaeya... Only to fall halfway because he melts the ice.

Screaming as he falls back into the coffin, the "corpses" grabbing him immediately, he practically flings himself out of the hole. Clawing his way up and out, growling at Kaeya. ~~Ironically he looks like a zombie.~~ ] YOU! [ He crawls over to Kaeya and shakes his shoulders. ] DID THAT! [ He looks insane: covered in dirt, blood, ash, glass and bits of concrete while raving. ] ON PURPOSE!

Diluc and ice... those don't go well with one another.

It wasn't necessarily his intention to have Diluc fall on his ass after using the ladder Kaeya KNOWS he can't use without melting it, but well... he'll just have to find another way to get Diluc out. That's what he thought anyway... until Diluc launches himself out of the hole and starts crawling his way towards Kaeya like an actual zombie.

For a moment, Kaeya is frozen in place as Diluc GRABS him and shakes him. He shakes his head and grabs hold of Diluc's arms in an attempt to stop him from shaking him. ]

...Gah! Stop! I wasn't doing ANYTHING on purpose-- I was trying to get out while your brain was melting itself and the things around it.

[ Other than showcasing his ass. That was absolutely on purpose. ]

I have half a mind to return my burden for crates of grape juice, you ass. [ He growls out, pulling away from Kaeya to try and tear out the shrapnel on his own. ... Except it won't budge. Instead it just makes the wound bigger as he tries to move it. ] Great. That's just great.

...Crates?

[ Immediately grabs at Diluc's arms when he realizes what he's doing. ]

Stop-- stop it, you oaf! You can be upset with me all you want-- even take it out on me, but that doesn't mean you can hurt yourself in the process.

You have to carefully pull them out or else you'll tear at not just your outsides, but your insides as well -- honestly, am I the only one who listened during our first aid classes? Come on, let me take you back to the apartment.

Forget it. [ He frowns. ] I paid attention, it just won't budge. I'm not trying to hurt myself. [ Shaking his head, he starts to get up. ] It's fine. I can help get other people out of their graves first.

[ Grabs his wrist and tugs him back. ]

Telling me to 'forget it' is only going to make me do the exact opposite. At least let me take some of the larger pieces out if you're hellbent on helping the others -- you don't even have a shovel, Diluc.

Fine. [ He sits back down, closing his eyes when the forest floor starts to change into gore again. ] ...It's supposed to be a surprise.

Oh, so you're allowed to have surprises, but when I do it's like "oh, Kaeya, my fair maiden heart can't take it, please don't."

[ Carefully extracts a piece of shrapnel and starts a pile next to them. ]

It's different. This isn't some spur of the moment surprise. [ If he knew what was good for him he would shut up. ] And stop calling me a maiden. Is that a thing for you?

Maybe. Why don't we put you in a dress and see if it sticks, hmm?

[ Aaand with that, he yanks a fairly sizeable piece out of Diluc while he's distracted. ]

[ Ow. He bites his lip but that doesn't stop the whimper from still escaping. ] Right. Should have known after the skirt and everything else. [ Opening his eyes again and finding the gore has disappeared he turns to Kaeya. ] What will it be then? A maid dress? Some debutante ball-gown?

Hmm. Not sure... we're both long past purity and virtue, but dressing up is all about pretend, right? Maybe a pure white wedding dress.

You always did look dashing in white.

[ Yoink. There goes another one. ]

Just need to make sure you don't bleed all over it.

A wedding... you're ridiculous. There's no way they even have that in the clothing store. [ He winces at the removal but doesn't make noise. ] It's not like I purposefully try to get injured this badly.
